LOGAN HIGH SCHOOL
PERFORMING ARTS CENTER
For over 30 years, AEDIS has played a key part in the transformation of Logan High School—from a small 1,200-student campus to a 4,200-student mega-high school.
The current modernization efforts involve the reconstruction of the entire rear half of the campus. All portable buildings were removed to make room for a series of two-story classroom buildings and new student courtyards. Vocational shops and maintenance facilities were relocated; and the new performing arts center, which includes a 600-seat theater, will now visually anchor the front.
The technically complex Center for the Performing Arts is a large, open-span, masonry and steel-framed structure that uses advanced techniques for acoustical engineering to provide premium sound quality.
